Born in the suburbs, Ava is (mostly) a Chicago native. Her expressions through art started at a young age. She has a wide breadth of practice with disciplines spanning culinary arts, jewelry and metalsmithing, fashion design, and software engineering.

Ava’s deepest body of work comes through the medium of film photography. She often shoots in analog formats of 35mm C-41 color photography and Polaroid instant photography. Her work spans decades with black and white prints first produced in early 2013.
